Pani Indian Kitchen

Pani Indian Kitchen, located on the Crescent in Camana Bay, has quickly become one of Cayman’s most popular choices for authentic Indian cuisine.

The talented team of chefs, hailing from the many regions across India, have made every effort to ensure the freshest ingredients are included in every dish. Traditional cooking methods are also used to capture the classic flavours of the cuisine that promises to take diners on a culinary journey along the spice route.

At Pani, your journey will begin even before you enter the restaurant! Classic Indian music greets guests on the outdoor patio that overlooks the harbour, setting the tone for what’s to follow. Bright jewel-toned pillows add comfort to the custom teak furniture, welcoming diners to relax and enjoy the many offerings of this popular and atmospheric eatery.

Upon entering Pani Indian Kitchen, you’ll find a place where a wonderful custom wall mural, a massive hand painted floor Mandala, custom wood furniture, textured fabrics and original artwork will spark your imagination. But it’s the unmistakable fragrance of traditional Indian cooking that will capture your attention and entice your taste buds.

Looking towards the open view kitchen, you’ll notice the two gleaming brass tandoor ovens – the true work horses at Pani! Baking at temperatures of approximately 900 degrees Fahrenheit, they sear in the full flavours of every dish while maintaining tenderness. Pani’s copper tandoors are exclusively used to bake the savoury selection of naan breads.

Open for lunch at 11.30am daily, you can order classics such as handmade Samosas, Pani Indian Kitchen Malabar Shrimp Curry, Paneer Butter Masala and the wickedly famous Rogan Josh, along with the “modern” classics made famous in the UK, such as Chicken Tikka Masala.

Whether you’re an adventurous foodie, a mainstream eater or a health-conscious diner, you will have no trouble navigating the many choices at Pani, guided by the knowledgeable and friendly staff.
