Built in 1908 as the Petra Plantation House and subsequently transformed into a restaurant decades ago, Grand Old House is now a waterfront restaurant overlooking the ironshore. Its large deck welcomes people whatever the size of their event or party, and they also offer five air conditioned private dining rooms.
The restaurant's chefs prepare Caribbean-international classics using local ingredients, including the catch of the day and produce from local farmers. Diners can enjoy dinner, washed down with wine from their wine collection, and follow this with a glass of Armagnac and a cigar to round off their evening.
Grand Old House is very focused on big charity events and weddings and has a full-time event planner and experienced staff, making this old colonial plantation house a good option for large weddings and corporate events. Their waterfront deck can host over 400 people.
