Andi Marcher and Paolo Polloni, owners and business partners, describe the exquisite menu as "Italian-based, fused with international flavours".
It has been given a modern, inventive spin by their creative Chef Luca. The results are amazing. Everything is made fresh daily in LUCA's kitchen, from breads to pastas to desserts. Freshness of product and simplicity of presentation sums up the dining experience at LUCA. The daily specials and a six-course tasting menu (on request) also highlights the team's on-going creativity.
Sleek and stylish, LUCA oozes smart sophistication. The team's attention to detail is apparent everywhere, from the marble floors to the Venetian hand-blown glass lights. Five Italian craftsmen were imported from Europe and spent six weeks installing the wood panelling and other finishing touches, including the leather upholstered banquettes.
LUCA's fabulous glass-encased wine cellars, hold several thousand bottles, representing a choice of over 1,100 different varieties and in 2016 was once again awarded the 'Best of Award of Excellence' by the Wine Spectator.
The restaurant is managed by the very capable and delightful Matteo Manfio from Italy: Matteo’s attention to detail is meticulous and he will make sure you will have an exceptional dining experience at LUCA. Matteo is the 2020 Sommelier Stand Off winner; his extensive knowledge of wines, their grapes and region will allow you to combine your food choices with the best wine pairing for a fantastic meal.
