Abacus was the first restaurant to appear in Camana Bay, Grand Cayman; restaurateurs Markus Mueri and Neil Bryington ensured the bar was set high for the culinary offerings that later followed. Appealing to a trendy crowd, Abacus is a culinary destination with a chic design and a lounge culture, combining sophisticated city dining with the cool Caribbean breeze. Abacus lends itself to the airy openness of Camana Bay, with the lounge area extending right onto the Paseo. Dine alfresco or just unwind with a cocktail as you soak in the scene.

Then move indoors to the subtly lit restaurant, where you will be treated to comfortable leather seating. Start with the popular Oxtail Spring Rolls with mango and sweet chili sauce or try the Grilled Octopus with chorizo for a daring seafood twist. Prefer a more traditional starter? The Local Catch Ceviche is seasoned well with local peppers and fresh lime.

The Island’s produce also inspires Abacus’s artistically crafted cocktail menu. The drinks are shaken and stirred by the restaurant’s mixologist using seasonal fruits directly from the Island’s farmers.
